Æ is a symbol of Taleworldsism, because it is. It can't not be a symbol, because this wiki says so. Even if it did say here that it wasn't a symbol, it still would be, because there's a page about it, so it is. If this has confused you, then look at the Æ.

It is two letters, joined by the mighty Armagan in The Latter Days. This happens in Appendix 2. He did, of course, say it in Megaturkish, which only He, Ipek, and the Archangel Maelstrom can understand.

Algebra using Æ (a.k.a. Ælgebra) is complex, moreso than trying to tie your shoes whilst singing the macarena on a tightrope and eating a bourbon cream. Here are some examples:

Æ + Æ = Æx10 (not 3Æ, you fool), Æx10 + Æ = Æx10^2 (and so on)
Æ - Æ = æ
æ - æ = impossible (because there is no plausible reason to ever do this)
Æ * Æ = Æ!, Æ! * Æ = Æ!! (and so on)
Æ / Æ = 4 (you would have though that this would make Æ be 16, but Ælgebra doesn't work that way)
